I've been here a few times now. The food is always excellent. The service is good too but really depends a lot on how busy they are. Bring a friend and get the Breakfast Board.

I got the Duck Eggs Benedict, and I have to say, it was one of the best breakfast I have ever had, the duck was tender, sweet and had a very delicate zesty flavor to it while the Benedict was cooked perfectly with the hollandaise sauce. Pretty fair pricing for the quantity, wish the portions were a little larger with better orange juice, but still a great deal with very sweet waitresses. I definitely will be a return customer and I will be recommending to everybody.

Came here during brunch hour. Was relatively busy but was able to get sat pretty much right away. Coffee is great and in the pictures below you can see me demolish a breakfast board. It was wonderful. Only thing that could improve is the customer service, my server was great but the other tables around me were barely getting attended to. I stand by the five stars though, food was great and my server was fantastic. Thank you Jose O!

Had a wonderful brunch. The server , I believe his name was Christian, was lovely, helpful, and well versed on the menu. I got the duck breast eggs Benedict. Not something I’ve seen on any menu before and it was delicious.

We are visiting from Idaho and Utah, we have tried multiple places this week, and this is by far the best breakfast we had. We couldn't decide what we wanted, so we got their "Let's Mug it Up" plate. It feed both of us, and gave us a great sample of all their food. We are completely full, and the price was just right! If you are in Oceanside, I would recommend this place! It's soooo good!

It's such an amazing little place to eat some great breakfast!!! This place was quiet and there was no wait time when we went! All the food was delicious, I can't wait to go back! Try the breakfast board!!!! It's a must!!!!

My wife and I came to Oceanside for a short getaway. We always look for a new place to eat and found this little place. It's of the main drag and hustle of traffic and tourists. We were pleasantly surprised. The Breakfast Mug wasn't busy and the food was great. We shared a Caprese Omelet with a side of toast, one pancake, and coffee. Our server told us they've been here four years and the owner is preparing to open another restaurant in Carlsbad soon. Best wishes, we will visit again.
